Company Profile 3-S was established in 1993 and started its activities in chemical industry by producing and supplying industrial oils such as metalworking fluids, cutting oil, HFDU fluids and many others. Our Düzce Factory, where we have our production facilities as well as R&D center, is operational since 2009. In this 10.000 m2 facility, we do toll manufacturing for world’s biggest lubricant company Quaker Houghton. Moreover, we handle and supply transformer oil in bulk from our partner Savita. Besides these, we have started Ester production in 2020 with the vision of becoming a prominent oleochemical manufacturer. In addition to our activities in Turkey, we are taking firm steps to the aim of becoming a global supplier with the help of our factory in Uganda and sales office in the Netherlands.

3S from Past to Today

1993 3-S Istanbul was founded by A.Kerim DERVİŞOĞLU
2003 Acquisition of exclusive distributorship of Quaker Chemical in Turkey
2009 Establishment of the factory in Düzce First production under the POTENZA brand
2015 The closed area of the factory tripled with the construction of 2 new halls.
2017 Registration as an R&D center by the Ministry
2018 Establishment of transformer oil plant Start of motor oil exports to Uganda
2019 Start-up of our plant in Uganda, GCMS and Reactor investments in our plant in Turkey
2020 Start of oleochemical production with our Universal reactors
2021 Start of sales of oleochemicals under TRIEST brand
2021 Sale of Potenza brand and related market as a result of the contract with QH; becoming the official contract manufacturer of QH
2022 Tank investments to increase bulk supply capacity in transformer oil

Triest Esters

After being accredited as an R&D Center by the Turkish Government in 2017, we have started to manufacture high quality and value added ester and its derivatives under our trademark TRIEST. Esters are advantageous chemicals that show superior properties compared to conventional and/or petroleum based raw materials. This leads esters to be the preferred raw material in various industries. TRIEST esters we produce, are mainly bio-based, eco-friendly and biodegradable. We supply our esters (Fatty Acid, Fatty Acid Complex, Trimellitate, Polyol, Phosphate etc.) to wide range of industries such as industrial oils, cosmetics, floor coatings, inks, textile chemicals.
